Tribal Crest Cuff

Bev was in one of her very artistic moods and starting doing some tribal etches.  She came up with this one and thought it would look sharp on a nice wide piece of American bridle leather (top of  the line stuff).

The cuff measures 2 1/4" and was a multi step process to achieve the color it ended up.  She first started with two "fading" coats of bison brown.  After drying and rubbin it out to a gloss, she then started an antiquing process using black antique.  This filled in her beautiful handcarving and also some of the grain on the rest of the band.  Edge grooves and black edge coat finished it off.  The final step was applying a super sheen finish to seal and protect it for years of wear.  A double snap closure is used.  This particular piece measures 8 1/2" from snap to snap.  Ask if you need it custom sized for you (See our sizing info in FAQ's).

Photos 1 and 3 depict the true color--I added a bit more lighting to show the carving better and made the leather look a lighter color.
